I saw "Black swan" on Friday and I absolutely adored it. I'm so happy about it, as I was afraid I wouldn't like it because of my high expectations. I thought it would be more obscure and the music wouldn't be very important, but the soundtrack and the dance scenes are astounding. The photography direction is remarkable, the use of light, the colour, the multiple reflections of Natalie's character...
Every frame (owned by Natalie Portman, she truly deserves that Oscar) is a work of art. For that reason, I decided to publish a post with the best images from the film. You'll find larger versions of some of the images.

The ball dress
I fell in love with the dress Natalie wears at her presentation scene. It's very Rodarte. I hope she wears Rodarte to the Oscars.

The ballet costumes were designed by the Mulleavy sisters, the designers behind Rodarte. The best choice for this film, the tutus and the ball dress are masterpieces. They deserved an Oscar nomination at least.
