Paul Newman was one of my favourite actors. He was incredibly elegant and seemed a fun person. I saw “The Prize” the other day and he was amazing: he can keep his elegance while wearing a robe or just a tiny towel. My favourite films of him are “The Sting” and “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”… I’ve probably watched them more than six times. Paul and Robert Redford were the best team.
I’ve chosen some of his most beautiful pics (it was difficult, I had to narrow 60 pictures to less than 25. He looked great on every of them!) for style inspiration. His style was preppy and sporty, lots of white pants, v-neck jumpers... By the way, I noticed he wears white socks most of the time. Is he the only man on Earth (apart from Michael Jackson) who can pull off white socks?

Paul Newman era uno de mis actores favoritos. Era increíblemente elegante y parecía una persona muy divertida. El otro día vi “El premio” y estaba genial: puede conservar su elegancia aún llevando sólo una bata o una toalla minúscula. Las películas que ha hecho que más me gustan son “El Golpe” y “Dos hombres y un destino”… Las he debido de ver más de seis veces. Paul y Robert Redford hacían el tandem perfecto.
He elegido algunas de sus fotos más bonitas (ha sido difícil, ¡he tenido que reducir más de sesenta fotos a menos de veinticinco! Todas eran geniales) como inspiración de estilo. Era una mezcla entre “preppy” y deportivo: pantalones blancos, jerseys de cuello de pico… Por cierto, me he dado cuenta de que lleva calcetines blancos la mayoría de veces. ¿Es él el único (aparte de Michael Jackson) al que le quedan bien?
Rara vez publico sobre moda masculina, pero estas fotos las tenía que poner. Como he dicho muchas veces, el blog lo creé para compartir todas las cosas bellas que encontrara. Bueno, ésta es una de ellas.
