Back for more

So I'm back from my holidays (sniff...).

I have had a great time, lots of sun. By the way, I bought a pair of wayfarers! (Well, someone gave them to me as a present, I'm so spoiled :D). They are great, white... I look perfect on them. Right now I'm looking at them, they are on my desktop. Shining. Okay, I stop, haha.

I went to the beach, I have been tanning and looking at the sky (with diaaamonds...), thinking and reading a lot. I bought a stack of magazines and I did nothing but read them and drink fresh beverages. It has been great.
I also went to Marbella, and did a lot of shopping in Puerto Banus. Well, if you call shopping this: "Can I take this catalogue, please?". At the end of the day I was carrying Dior, Loewe, Armani shopping bags as if I had just bought the most expensive handbags and shoes.
I was astonished when I saw how many fake handbags and belts they were selling. They even stopped next to the boutiques, so you could see a man selling fake Loewes next to the real Loewe boutique. Something like: "Well, you saw the prices and you didn't buy anything, so buy yourself this gift, it looks almost the same". I laughed out loud when I saw a belt with the Louis Vuitton logo and big CHANEL letters in gold.
Oh, and when I entered the Chloé boutique (can you believe I had never been to a Chloé boutique?), I felt in paradise. The clothes were ethereal silk clouds and the dresses whispered "Buy me, wear me". I was like "I can't believe I am touching what I've been seeing on the internet over and over". I felt I could stay there forever.

Ya he vuelto de mis vacaciones. (Sniff....)

Sasha Pivovarova by Hedi Slimane.
They remind me a lot of this editorial also shot by Hedi. As I love the two, I don't mind they look so similar!

Although Fashionologie and Starbucks and Jane Austen have already posted about it, I can't avoid publishing this great cover from Nylon.
By the way, I suscribed two months ago and I still haven't received any issue. Bad Nylon, bad!

Now, the meme that Tinsley has asked me to do:

What is the story behind the name of your blog and your nickname?
As I already explained, I wanted a mix between what I like the most (la playa, or the beach, which is the same but in spanish). And I loved the "Miss", so that's how I made the name.
I also use the nickname Verymoni, because my real name is Monica, but they call me Moni, and the web I made was very moni, you know, very me.

Why did you start blogging in the first place?
Because I was tired of the rest of blogs. Well, I loved and I still love reading them, but I would upset when they didn't update, so I created my own blog to update whenever I liked. I also wanted to post about things that I liked and that I found interesting. From clothes to Jude Law.

What has been your best blogging experience? What about the worst?
The best is always yet to come, but the comments are always a pleasure, and I thank you all my readers for them. Your comments are great. About the worst... maybe having my posts copied without crediting.

What do you think/ want to happen to your blog in 2008?
I want to change the design, organize things a little bit...
