My favourite painters are Manet, Toulouse Lautrec, Klimt, Picasso, Velázquez and Hopper. I always love looking at their paintings, wondering how they did that amazing effect just with brushes and oil, how they create such beautiful backgrounds and clothes (yes, the painters are designers too, in a subtle kind of way), and how they transmit such difficult feelings in the expressions. You can make up your own stories about the characters shown in the painting, and imagine what they are thinking.
So, as I love fashion and art, here you have a mix of the two.
Sacs de Maître
These artworks are made with famous paitings and famous handbags. It is so well done that it looks as the painter had really painted the spring must-haves!.
Good work, Myprestigium
Yves Saint Laurent Homme / YSL Rive Gauche 1998
Photographed by Mario Sorrenti.
Yves Saint Laurent is becoming one of my favourite brands since the necklaces made with methacrylate stars, so when I found this inspiring campaign I had to post it.

Yves Saint Laurent directed it himself, with Mario Sorrenti (he's the best!) photographing the models as the characters of Yves's favourite paintings.
