Wear a satchel

Satchels have been an “it” accesory for several seasons already. They became a trend thanks to Alexa Chung, who combined them with any oufit. She’s so obsessed with satchels, that Mulberry created a special model for her, the Alexa. You can find it on many colours: leather, leopard…

It’s a masculin bag, but it gives the final touch to a feminine outfit. My favourite label is The Cambridge Satchel Company, which I discovered thanks to La Condesa. Their clean and simple look is ideal, and they have several colours and shapes available. Plus, you can ask them to emboss your name or initials. An special fluor edition has been released for spring, and I loved it so much that I had to post about it right away. As an excuse of showing you the fluor collection, here you have some satchels and accompanying looks.

Los satchels han estado de moda desde hace varias temporadas. Se convirtieron en tendencia gracias a Alexa Chung, que podía combinarlos con cualquier tipo de conjunto. Tal es su obsesión por los satchels, que Mulberry creó un modelo especial con su nombre que se puede encontrar en todo tipo de acabados: leopardo, piel...

Es un bolso de estilo masculino, pero le da el toque perfecto a un look femenino. La marca que más me gusta es The Cambridge Satchel Company, que descubrí gracias a La Condesa. Su aspecto limpio y sencillo es ideal, y tienen numerosos colores y formas. Además, se pueden grabar tus iniciales o tu nombre. Para esta primavera han lanzado una edición en colores flúor que me ha gustado tanto que he tenido que publicarlo nada más enterarme de la noticia. Con la excusa de presentaros la colección fluorescente, os recomiendo algunos de los looks y modelos que más me han llamado la atención.

Salto de pulga ("flea jump" in spanish) is a cute label that creates unique accesories such as necklaces, brooches, rings... With original shapes and designs. The ones with the hands making animal-shaped shadows are my favourites.

Round glasses, current obsession

Round glasses are one of the most difficult accesories to wear. They don't look good on every shape, they can make you look like a hippie or a clown. If you are one of the few lucky people that can pull off these fabulous glasses, go ahead! :)

This kind of shape adds a lot of personality to an outfit. They are risky, and original. Here you have some examples. What do you think? Yay or nay? I love them, but I'm not brave enough to buy a pair yet...

Las gafas redondas son uno de los complementos más difíciles de llevar. No sientan bien a todos, y sin querer se puede parecer un hippie o un payaso. Si eres una de las pocas personas a las que les quedan bien estas gafas tan geniales, ¡adelante!
