Chanel Spring/Summer 2009 Presentation: What I did today!

Today's been a great day.
Everything seemed normal, I woke up early, the alarm clock, I chose the clothes I was wearing, I got dressed, I had breakfast, I took the car, and so on. But then, at 14:30, my aunt phoned me to tell me that I was invited to the Chanel Spring/Summer 2009 presentation. Suddenly a boring tuesday became a fabulous day.
The presentation, for the press, was in Atocha nº8, in an old building redecorated to appear modern, with giant posters of the campaign of the collection, Chanel logos everywhere, and tv screens with the videos of the collection. I was there with my aunts (who are great, btw), and we met these awesome people from Chanel, all of them were incredibly nice and helpful. They showed us the jewellery collection. The first watch ever, created by Gabrielle Chanel, has the shape of the Place of Vendôme, as Gabrielle lived at the Ritz for many years and she saw that place from her window. The bottle of the fragrance Chanel Nº5 has also that elegant shape. The jewels were so beautiful, white gold, silver... the decorations were even better: white coral, and photos of Anna Mouglalis. Then we headed to the beauty section, where a very nice boy explained me all the background of the collection. It was inspired by an old collection were all the clothes were taken from the gypsy culture. He was really nice, beauty products and combining colours were his life passion. You could also have a manicure by experts, but I totally forgot to go back to those tables when I finished seeing everything. Now I regret it.
Next we stayed there to see all the clothes from the collection. Everything was so perfect, really. It felt kind of strange seeing "in person" all the things I've been seeing in pictures for months.
