Funny quote of the day
"The Ramones? Isn't it a brand of t-shirts?" - a friend of mine."¿Los Ramones? ¿No es una marca de camisetas?" - un amigo.

What do you miss in fashion?
Thanks to Elena C, who chose me as one of the bloggers to receive the limited edition of the December Issue of Elle Spain, with authentic Swarovsky little crystals on the cover. It is great having a magazine on hard cover! :D
What do you miss?
Old people tend to say their "time" was better than today. They were happier, people were nicer, fashion was more elegant... are they right? I don't think so. Things change, but some change for the better.
Nevertheless, there are things that I really miss:
The Supermodel era
(Stella Tennant & Karl Lagerfeld)
Yves Saint Laurent
Edie Sedgwick
Audrey Hepburn
Christian Dior
Isabella Blow
The "vintage" Claudia Schiffer
Richard Avedon's photography
Grace Kelly

Sell your soul to Marc Jacobs
What would you give for a front row ticket to a fashion show, say Prada?
Cartoon by Sean Delonas, The New York Post
Scanned by me from this book:
Only at Marc Jacobs's stores. It is full of pictures, it is quite entertaining to look at.

Tee it
Today the post is dedicated to tees... some say I have too many ones, some say (me) that I need some new ones...
But for now I'm making my Christmas wishlist. Hope it becomes true.
Yatt
They are Yatt, only one year old and they are on everyone's mouth... will they be the next big thing? If you think so, wear a Yatt tee before everyone else does!
Yatt are César and Tamara. Tamara designs the clothes, and César, her boyfriend, is the one to check all the numbers (payments, shippings, the website, and so on). They are young, (21 and 20), they have new ideas, and if you put your ear near the fabric, you will hear"Cory, Kate Moss, Olsen, rock!"
The best thing? You can buy some Justice inspired tees (the Colette ones were impossible to buy, I mean, they disappeared in seconds)
They started from scratch, selling their designs on the internet, and now you can find their designs in important shops in Madrid! . I have even heard about a Yatt party... so now you know what to do... do the d·a·n·c·e, 1,2,3,4, fight!
I Love Boxie
You know these shops where you can't leave without buying something? It happens to me sometimes. I like the ambient of the shop, the people there, their brand idea... something special I can't really explain. But I like it.
It is the case of Boxie. You tell them your story (you met the most fabulous girl but she turned out to be a mermaid, or your dog can speak with the fish, or you like eating ice-cream on winter), and a line to accompany it, which will be printed on the tee. They will read your story, think about the line you decided, (maybe they will come up with a better one), and they will print it for you.
Isn't it romantic?
You can also watch some videos of the making of the tees.
How much does it cost?...
See how everything has its own story?
Elena Gallen
You already know my obsession for these tees...
And I can't believe I haven't bought one yet.
Hope you are luckier than me. Shop here
Thanks to Fashionisima and Discotheque Confusion for telling me about Yatt & Boxie.

Miss at la Playa says...
Take a moment just to breath slowly
Look at the sky
Look for shapes in the clouds
Lay on the grass
Put daisies on your hair
